Collier Township Agrees to Two Years

Glacial Energy continues to make strides all over the country. Recently, it has been announced that Glacial Energy was awarded a contract to provide electricity to all the government buildings in Collier Township, which is located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. This is just a small piece of Glacial Energy’s overall success, but it is representative of their business attitude. While they want to become leaders of the industry, they pay attention to the small battles–winning over a township at a time allows Glacial Energy to see to each individual client’s needs and wants.

During a Commissioners meeting in December, members voted 4-0 to begin said contract with Glacial Energy.  While Commissioner Kay Downey-Clark noted that Duquesne Light would remain the electric distributor for the town, Glacial Energy will become the electric supplier.

The two year contract should be very profitable for all parties involved. Congratulations to Collier Township for taking this step to ensure electricity costs them less.
