Glacial Energy is a company that is active in the alternative marketing of energy services in various markets in the United States. Glacial Energy is active in sixteen markets all over the United States, including some of the most important and populous ones: Texas, California, Michigan, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, New York, and many others. Glacial Energy’s blog is right now offering some unique tips on how people can get involved in the “new world of energy“.

There are all kinds of jobs available in the new industry of energy. As the energy industry diversifies past what it used to be, it will be important to have skillful individuals at all levels. This means having more than just electrical engineers on staff. It means having access to individuals who are skilled with communications, marketing, technology, and customer service too. While public utility companies did not need these specialties, Glacial Energy has leaned heavily upon them.

If customers have a testimonial about Glacial Energy, they are encouraged to share them here. Glacial Energy is eager to hear more from customers about the quality of services they are receiving.

The Glacial Energy program is one that offers all sorts of different options to energy consumers all over the United States. There are a range of options available to every single consumer using Glacial Energy, such as the Glacial Energy Cares program, the Green Energy program, the Natural Gas services, etc.

Glacial Energy is a company that is active in many of the deregulated energy markets across the country. This includes New York, Texas, Pennsylvania, California, Michigan, Washington D.C., Ohio, and many others. These markets have benefited from the work that Glacial Energy does. They are able to offer better pricing structures, with better customer services, at lower prices. Consumers benefit from this by saving money, time, effort, and avoiding frustration. These are very real issues for consumers, even as public utility companies are dismissing them as unimportant. Glacial Energy knows how important quality is when it comes to keeping customers using your products and services. The range of services available to Glacial Energy consumers is a major draw.

Everyone has to eat–of course. When storms roll through and power goes out, many people lose the ability to eat their food because it is by and large perishable items. Perishable items will last for a while but they are not long for this world. Glacial Energy recognizes this eventuality and has tried to supply information about cooking without power to their clients and energy consumers. Glacial Energy posted this on their blog concerning how to cook without power.

Dried or canned beans, canned tomatoes and pasta don’t need to be refrigerated and you can make a variety of dishes with them. Should a hurricane strike your area, it is important to have enough non-perishable packaged or canned food to last three to seven days. It takes disaster relief at least three days to reach an affected area, so having the minimum on hand is very important.

Hurricane-foods include foods that simply do not need preparation. This includes sealed cookies, peanuts, granola bars, dried fruits, peanut butter, and other food products. Glacial Energy is a very high quality firm that provides energy services to consumers all over the country. This includes some of the most important markets, like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, D.C., New York, and California.

Smart Meters have been derided in the national media and by many consumers who do not truly understand how they effect their daily energy use. Smart Meters are intended deliver more reliable service and copious and detailed information concerning the house’s energy usage rates over the last couples of days, weeks, or months. This is helpful because it allows the client to see where there money is going and how to decrease their usage in a sustainable way, either for cost-reasons for environmental-reasons.

Smart Meters are everything they are cracked up to be. This post at the Glacial Energy blog gives a very good point-by-point refutation to the criticisms that have been aimed at Smart Meters over the last couple of years. The post is polite, but firm, in its refusal to give in to the myths and falsities surrounding Smart Meters. It is good to see an energy company setting the record straight.

There is a lot of reasons why an alternative retail marketer of energy services would need a public relations department. But the single best reason is to spread word of the company’s high quality services. This article does a good job of that without any help from the company itself.

During my time at Call Center Week in Las Vegas, I met with a number of companies that were a bit “outside the box” of what one might expect from such a show. I saw representatives from businesses in the education field, those who specialized in location services, and even one particular social gaming company. Perhaps the most unexpected company present, though, was one that specialized in the retail energy market, Glacial Energy.

Glacial Energy is involved in lots of similar events and professional gatherings, so it will be interesting to see if more positive press comes out of it.
