Investing in The Arts
Glacial Energy fully believes in the efficacy of art. The arts help students to accomplish more with the rest of their academic pursuits as well as to experience other cultures and become more rounded human beings. Bigotry, racism, and bullying all decrease amongst art students dramatically. Amongst adults, the Arts have similarly positive results. Glacial Energy is a supporter of the The Arts at many levels.
On Friday, April 16th of last year, Glacial Energy invested in the future of the Arts in South Texas. This might not seem like an important event if you live in Oregon, but the arts are important whether they are from Maine or Arizona.
The event that Glacial Energy invested in was called “The Art of Music”–a 2010 K-Space Fundraiser. This was a wonderful event that went off without a hitch and raised money for The Arts in South Texas, which is an absolutely worthy cause. Glacial Energy is always happy to be involved in events like this and will do so whenever possible.
